Introduced in the House

June 10, 2009

Introduced by Rep. Paul Opsommer (R-93)

To create a state “Priority Now” fund to hold and distribute the sales tax revenue that House Joint Resolution V and House Bill 5074 would earmark to road construction and repair. 60 percent of the money would go for state road spending, and of the balance, 65 percent would go to county road commissions and 35 percent to city and village road spending. No road that this money was used on could be converted into a toll road for 50 years.
