2007 House Bill 5429

Repeal reverter clause on school forest property sales

Introduced in the House

Nov. 8, 2007

Introduced by Rep. Goeff Hansen (R-100)

To repeal the requirement that proceeds from the sale of tax-reverted forest land owned by school district must be divided equally between the state and the district. Instead, the district could keep the money. See Public Act 377 of 2004.
