Impose new auto insurance company regulations

To require auto insurance companies to submit to the state insurance commission complete data on premiums, aggregate claims and payments, risk assessment and premium pricing practices, profits, and much more; and prohibit insurers from raising rates without permission in advance from the commission, subject to public hearings. Also, to expand the services covered by the unlimited personal injury protection (PIP) mandated under the state no-fault automobile insurance law; and regulate and limit an insurer’s ability to challenge certain costs it is required to reimburse.
