2006 Senate Bill 1239

Require corporations submit annual "outsourced worker summary"

Introduced in the Senate

May 2, 2006

Introduced by Sen. Mark Schauer (D-19)

To require Michigan-registered corporations to include an "outsourced worker summary" with the annual report they must file with the state that describes each current or former employees who were "outsourced," or a certification that that corporation did not have any outsourced workers in that year. The state corporations bureau would be required to post this information on its web site, and to give the legislature an annual report on the impact of outsourced workers on the state economy. The bill is part of a package comprised of Senate Bills 1235 to 1240.
