To require the Department of Education to develop, and encourage school districts to adopt, model self-defense programs for pupils in all grade levels, that would teach them to avoid dangerous situations; teach methods to ward off an attack and escape an aggressor or abductor; teach “instinctive, aggressive responses”; teach the basics of internet safety; and promote positive character traits.
