To limit the reduction of worker’s compensation payments which current law requires for certain persons receiving social security or other pension income. Current law requires a cut of worker’s comp benefit equal to 50 percent of the amount of old-age Social Security benefits. Under the bill, the benefits payable after this reduction could not be less than 50 percent of those that would be otherwise payable without the cut.
