To authorize the sale of specialty watercraft registration decals which depict some aspect of the Great Lakes or of Great Lakes water quality (similar to specialty auto license plate programs). These would be available for $35 to motorboat owners currently required to purchase boat license decals. Of the $35, $10 would pay for the decal design, production, and issue; and $25 would be earmarked for the Michigan Great Lakes Protection Fund, to pay for public education about efforts to eradicate aquatic nuisance species from the Great Lakes and other waters.
