To increase the penalties a township can impose for the crime of driving while intoxicated, and require them to be consistent with state law. See also House Bill 4247, which lowers the threshold for drunk driving offenses from a blood-alcohol-content (BAC) of .10 to .08 per 100 milliliters of blood, and creates a new “high BAC” drunk driving crime.
