2002 Senate Bill 1283

To recognize and codify in statute a transfer of functions currently authorized under the rehabilitation act of 1964 to the new Department of Career Development, which was created by executive order No. 12 in 1999. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of Senate Bills 1279 to 1299, which consolidate various government job training programs within the department. See also House Bills 5901 to 5923.
