To exempt reserve or part-time peace officer while on duty at a location designated by the police chief from the concealed carry of weapons license (CCW) law restriction which prohibits carrying a concealed pistol on the premises of certain institutions, including a school or school property, a child care facility, a sports arena or stadium, a bar, a place of worship, an entertainment facility with a seating capacity of 2,500 or more, a hospital, and a dormitory or classroom of a college or university. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 6108 to 6113. See also House Bill 6104.
