2019 House Bill 4658: Restrict use of data from “machine-readable” drivers license

To prohibit businesses from collecting personal information by scanning a machine-readable state-issued driver's license or state-issued identification card. The bill permits scanning but limits to limited identity-confirming and fraud-avoiding purposes.   Official Text and Analysis.
