2018 Senate Bill 1195: Impose tax, expand regulation of radioactives in hazardous waste landfills

To establish a $5 per ton fee on “technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive materials,” called “tenorms,” that are deposited in Michigan landfills, payable by the landfill owner to the state.
