To forgive state loans to the Mackinac Bridge Authority, and prohibit the authority from raising the tolls on the bridge until at least October 1, 2007. The tolls were recently increased for all vehicles. The increase for passenger cars was from $1.50 to $2.50. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 4627 to 4631, which is designed to roll back the fee increase.
