2016 House Bill 5365: Revise child immunization rules
Introduced by Rep. Marcia Hovey-Wright D-Muskegon on February 16, 2016
To authorize local health officers to exclude from school any child with an exemption from state immunization requirements, if the officer suspects that another child has a communicable disease that puts non-immunized individuals at risk. The bill would also require the state Department of Community Health to publicize the new law if enacted.   Official Text and Analysis.
