2016 House Bill 5319: Repeal law prosecuting minors as adults for very serious crimes

To repeal the 1988 law that requires juveniles age 14 to 17 who are charged with very serious crimes to be tried as adults. This bill repeals references to that law in the code of criminal procedure.   Official Text and Analysis.
