2015 House Bill 4302: Give big electric utilities a monopoly
Introduced by Rep. Aric Nesbitt R-Lawton on March 5, 2015
To revise references in the 2008 law that imposed “renewable” energy mandates on utilities, to accommodate the proposal in House Bill 4298 to restore the complete monopolies held by the state’s largest utilities before customer choice and competition were authorized by a 2000 law (later limited by a 2008 law). This is part of a utility re-regulation package consisting of House Bill 4297 to 4302.   Official Text and Analysis.
