Require failing school student intervention programs

To require the 5 percent lowest-achieving public schools to provide additional instruction to students identified as needing intervention by screening the bill would also require in various grades. These schools would also have to notify parents when a student failed to meet grade level content expectations, assign adult “advocates” to high school students at risk of dropping out, and more.
