Impose licensure, training requirements, regulation, fees and more on “music therapists"

To impose licensure on individuals wishing to enter the occupation of “music therapy.” The bill would authorize regulations, a college degree prerequisites, impose a $148 annual license fee, require individuals get a certificate from a specified private entity in the business of providing (and lobbying for) these, and more. The bill would create a Michigan Music Therapy Board comprised of incumbent providers, who would be empowered to impose additional requirements.
