Introduced by Sen. Curt VanderWall R-Ludington on February 25, 2021
To require schools and child care facilities to develop a “drinking water safety plan” that meets detailed standards and reporting requirements the bill would specify, including filter and testing requirements, and have at least one “filtered bottle-filling station” for every 100 occupants. The bill would also authorize state grants for all this but does not specify where the money would come from. Official Text and Analysis.
