2021 House Bill 5506: Revise business personal property tax exemption reporting requirement

To revise reporting, process and eligibility details for businesses with personal property tax exemptions. This applies to a tax on business tools and equipment, and House Bills 5502 to 5506 amend different elements of the tax so as to eventually replace it with a similar tax called the "Eligible Manufacturing Personal Property (EMPP) tax exemption.   Official Text and Analysis.
