Repeal requirement that state use ‘bond buybacks' to lower its overall debt

To revise a law that allows a state "Michigan State Housing Development Authority” to "buy back” commercial housing market bond loans and debt it has assumed. The bill would permit rather than require the state to cancel such “repurchased” bond debt.
