2020 Senate Bill 981: Revise school immunization mandate
Introduced by Sen. Curtis Hertel, Jr. D-East Lansing on June 23, 2020
To require that a child enrolling in grade 12 for the first time must provide evidence of immunization or a parent’s declaration of religious objections, and include this information in annual reports public schools must file with state education officials. Current law requires this for children who enroll in grade seven for the first time.   Official Text and Analysis.
