To revise a law that limits to $50 (or more with permission of state officials) the amount an insurance agent can charge as an administrative fee on transactions related to "surplus lines" insurance. The bill would allow higher fees if they are not included in the insurance premium and are reasonable given risks unique to this type of insurance.
