Increase Mackinac pipeline spill sanctions

To expand the disclosure, prevention and response plan requirements for oil and gas pipeline spills in the Straits of Mackinac, and provide for penalties of up to $37,500 per day on pipeline or vessel owners and operators who are responsible for a spill. This is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bill 6199 to 6201; see also House Bill 6187.
