To amend the school code to automatically include Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Kent counties in the definition of “prosperity region,” which are areas that have assembled collaboratives comprised of government planners and economic development/business subsidy agencies. This could potentially make school districts in these counties eligible for some additional s state services and grants.
