2014 Senate Bill 963: Ban BB gun possession by unaccompanied minor

To prohibit minors from possessing an air, gas or spring powered BB or pellet gun unless accompanied by an adult. The bill also revises the definition of “firearm” to exclude an air, gas or spring powered gun that fires a projectile larger than .177 caliber (many air rifles and pistols fire .22 caliber pellets).   Official Text and Analysis.
