To allow a person certified by the National Fire Protection Association or the International Code Council to be registered as a state-approved fire safety system inspector and plan reviewer. Also, to allow a person licensed or certified to be a building inspector by another state with equivalent licensing standard, or certified by a recognized national certification organization, to be given a Michigan license without having to take a test.
