2012 House Bill 5542: Ban requiring emergency contact info for drivers license

To prohibit the Secretary of State from requiring drivers license applicants (including renewals) from providing emergency contact information as a condition of getting or renewing a license, but not prohibit asking if a person wants to provide this. The bill also would establish that this information could only be disclosed to law enforcement agencies.   Official Text and Analysis.
