2011 Senate Bill 879: Repeal ban on Detroit employee residency mandate

To exclude Detroit from the state law that prohibits local governments from imposing employee residency mandates. Under current law, a city can prohibit employees from living more than 20 miles away.   Official Text and Analysis.
