“Bridge card” reform package

Introduced in the House

June 9, 2011

Introduced by Rep. Anthony Forlini (R-24)

To create an explicit statutory prohibition against altering or disguising a welfare “bridge card.” “Bridge cards” are debit cards that have replaced food stamps and are also used for cash welfare payments. House Bill 4719 would require them to have a photograph of the recipient.
