To require the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to change its priorities to focus first on using “their best efforts” to help firms find skilled employees, training and site locations, rather than focusing first on providing selective tax breaks and subsidies. The bill is part of a “corporate welfare” package comprised of Senate Bills 1571 to 1574.
