2010 Senate Bill 1076: Lower compulsory school attendance age to 16

To repeal the provision which increases the compulsory school attendance age to 18 that was contained in the legislation passed in late 2009 to make the state eligible for federal “race to the top” education grants. The bill would restore the previous age 16 provision.   Official Text and Analysis.
