Require tax break “effectiveness” report

To require the Department of Treasury to prepare and post on the Internet a list of every tax credit available under the Michigan Business Tax, and to submit to the legislature a report showing the number of taxpayers who claimed certain types of credits, how much they spent to meet the terms of their tax break deal, how many people they employ, and the value of all the credits they earned. Also, to require the department create and report an assessment of the “effectiveness” of certain types of tax credit.
