To repeal a provision of the law authorizing the consolidation of services provided by neighboring local governments that requires employees doing the work under one of these “interlocal agreements” to receive the highest wages and benefits paid to any of the employees doing the job for either government before the agreement Under current law, existing employees must also be given all their same benefits, seniority, salary, etc.
