Appropriations: 2006-2007 budget revisions

To provide a “template” or “place holder” for revisions to the Fiscal Year 2006-2007 school aid budget. This bill contains no changes to appropriations for the year, but may be amended to make revisions in fund sources, disbursement dates, or other items related to spending in the fiscal year that ends less that one week after the bill was introduced. On the day the bill was introduced there was no agreement in sight regarding how to close a $1.7 billion gap between desired spending and expected revenue in the budget for the next fiscal year.
