To allow a school board member of a district with a population less than 15,000 to be an unpaid volunteer coach or extracurricular activity supervisor in school district. Current law prohibits a member of a governmental body (including a school board) from also being a paid employee. The member could not vote on matters related to athletic issues that come before the board.
