Governor appoint Supreme Court Constitutional amendment

To place before voters in the next general election a Constitutional amendment to replace the current direct election of state Supreme Court justices with appointment of justices by the governor, with approval by a two-thirds majority of the Senate. Justices would be appointed for one 14 year term, and could not be reappointed for another term.
