To require officials in the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and employees of a veterans’ facility, to forward reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation to a Michigan veterans’ facility “ombudsman,” who would be authorized to independently investigate reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation in a veterans’ facility.
