Ban monkeys and apes as pets

To prohibit the ownership, possession, breeding, sale, or importation of nonhuman primates (monkeys and apes) as pets. The bill authorizes exemptions for possession by zoos, veterinarians or specified officials, and “grandfathers” existing owners.
