2013 Senate Bill 153

House Roll Call 376: Passed

To eliminate the population threshold in a law that gives the Wayne County clerk the authority to designate an employee to perform marriages. Under current law, only the clerk of “a county having more than 2 million inhabitants” has this authority. The bill would extend this to all county clerks.
