2006 House Bill 5627

Senate Roll Call 242: Passed

To revise the definition of "consideration" in the law that prohibits providing a place not covered by a liquor license in which alcohol may be consumed for "consideration." In other words, where a person can buy an alcoholic drink. Under the bill consideration would include ticket purchases and providing any service or item. This would apply in situations such as a college fraternity charging admission to a beer party. The fraternity would need to get a liquor license under bill.
