To mandate that an employer who relocates a “call center” to a foreign country must notify the state within 30 days, subject to a $10,000 fine for failing to do so. Senate Bill 919 would to prohibit a company from getting state “economic development” subsidies (corporate welfare) if it relocates a call center to a foreign country.
