To mandate owners of non-residential or mixed-use buildings that have at least 25 parking places, to install electric car chargers, with the number determined by how many parking places there are. The bill would amend the state construction code and the mandate would apply “to each new site plan and to each revised or amended site plan that expands the available parking spaces,” and would also apply when a lot is “resurfaced”.
