To exempt animal control officers from the “gun free zone” restrictions in the state concealed pistol license law while on duty or traveling between home and work. These zones include schools, day care facilities, sports stadiums or arenas, bars, restaurants, places of worship, colleges, hospitals, casinos, entertainment facilities and courts.
