To rename the form used to claim a “homestead” property tax credit against an individual’s income tax the “Homeowner and Renter Property Tax Credit Claim MI-1040CR," and require the form to provide a clear and concise statement that renters may qualify for a credit of up to 23% of their rent paid during the tax year.
