To appropriate $400,000 that would be given to the Michigan chapter of a national Alzheimer's association for to operate a dementia care and support program in Allegan, Kent, Lenawee, Macomb, Midland, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, St. Joseph, and Wayne Counties. This money was in the 2019-20 fiscal year budget approved by the legislature in late September of 2019, but was removed by one of 147 line-item vetoes executed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, which struck $947 million from proposed spending.
