Let townships compel absent board members to attend meetings

To empower a township board, upon the vote of at least two members, to compel the attendance of other board members or township officers at a regular or special meeting, and to enforce orderly conduct in the meeting. A board member who refuses to attend or conduct himself or herself in an orderly manner would be guilty of misconduct in office. Similar rules apply to the governing bodies of other kinds of local government.
