To remove from the law authorizing a state campaign finance regulatory regime the provisions that are related to the election of directors of the University of Michigan, Michigan State and Wayne State Universities. House Joint Resolution DD would replace popular election of these institutions’ governing boards with appointment by the governor upon the advice and consent of the Senate.
