“Bad driver tax” repeal and amnesty

To authorize amnesty for individuals with liability for “driver responsibility fees” (“bad driver tax”) and who entered a payment plan for them. House Bill 5040 would abolish the fees effective Sept. 30, 2018, and this bill would clear any outstanding liability an individual may have to pay these fees under an installment plan.
