Business tools and equipment tax reform package

To revise details of a law authorizing selective tax breaks for certain specified companies, so as to accommodate the proposal in House Bills 6051 and 6052 to cut the property tax that manufacturers currently pay on business tools and equipment (called the “personal property tax”), and eliminate it for smaller non-manufacturing businesses.
